Steve Smith's Ravens and Eagles, Without the Nest

You might remember the beautifully carved and painted Raven's Nest by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Steve Smith in one of our earlier posts. Steve's most recent pieces at the gallery are individual Raven and Eagle basswood sculptures, without the nest. Each piece is knife-finished along the surface and then carefully hand-painted, giving the sculptures a unique hand-finished look. These basswood sculptures range in size and are available at the gallery for $750.00 CAD each.
