Summer 2013 Newsletter


Featured in our Summer 2013 Newsletter are painters and brothers: Rod Smith and Steve Smith (Kwakwaka'wakw) whose uniquely painted sculptural pieces will be on display for our upcoming exhibition Collaboration and Contrast (June 22-July 20). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 22nd from 4pm-7pm to celebrate the opening and National Aboriginal Day

Also featured this issue are the many diverse panels of cedar and glass by artists Dean Hunt (Heiltsuk), Alano Edzerza (Tahltan) and Clinton Work (Kwakwaka'wakw), fluorescent graffiti-inspired paintings by Andrew Dexel (Salish) and a dramatic Potlatch Puppet by the late Art Thompson (Nuu-chah-nulth).

Breast Cancer Awareness Hands of Friendship T-Shirts


Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in Canadian women. In support of these women, and in support of breast cancer awareness, we will donate 20% of our pink Hands of Friendship T-Shirt sales towards Breast Cancer Research.
