Haida artist Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas will be unveiling his new manga graphic novel Red at Vancouver's International Writers and Readers Festival, which runs from October 18 - 25. Mike will be unbinding his book and reassembling it to create a 4-metre-long mural. This will highlight Mike's fluid painting style and will emphasize the comic narrative that runs through most of his publications. This mural will be on display at Granville Island's Performance Works until October 25, 2009.
