ECUAD Aboriginal Student Show

Vancouver's Emily Carr University of Art and Design is currently running their Aboriginal student exhibition in the Concourse Gallery at ECUAD. Running until March 16th, this show features some of the best work being created by young, contemporary, emerging First Nations artists in Canada. Titled Grand Entry, ECUAD wrote the following description of the show: "At a Powwow, the Grand Entry is the opening ceremony where elders, dancers, and honoured guests are gathered to the centre of the circle. Powwows are events where people come together to celebrate and share their diverse and unique cultural identities."
