New to the gallery are two original acrylic paintings on canvas by Salish artist Andrew Enpaauk Dexel. Reminiscent of his earlier graffiti-style work, the paintings incorporate thick, three-dimensional formline of abstract Hummingbird and Sparrowhawk designs against fluorescent yellow and pink background colours. Each canvas measures 12" x 36" and is available for $800.00 CAD.

Dexel's work is currently being shown at Neubacher Shor Contemporary art gallery in Toronto, ON. The exhibition, titled Nooaitch, includes eleven original paintings that were inspired by Dexel's recent travels through Arizona and Brazil. These works are Dexel's interpretation of the interconnection between different spiritualities found within Indigneous cultures from North and South America.
