Richard Shorty

Tlingit painter, Richard Shorty, has been working in the gallery over the past few weeks. Known for his fine, detailed style and vibrant, original paintings, Richard began painting at the age of six. While he has been in the gallery, Richard has painted a bentwood box, several leather cuff bracelets and two originals on paper.

Lattimer Gallery has carried Richard's work for over twenty years, and we love having him in the gallery. He enjoys interacting with customers, and our customers like being able to place a name to a face. Richard creates works on commission, and information about custom orders can be obtained by contacting us at the gallery.
